  • We based that on preliminary data from UN reports, scientific and news articles,  but we acknowledge it's a simplified reference point. Our goal here isn’t to provide a detailed scientific model, but to create a tangible scenario that provokes discussion and inspires interdisciplinary collaboration.

  • Not yet—we’re aware that this is a crucial next step. This project is part of a design-driven exploration, and we see it as an open platform to invite experts into the process moving forward.

  • That’s a valid concern. In this phase, we focused more on the conceptual framework than on lifecycle analysis, but environmental cost is central to the next steps. We’re already thinking about ways to minimize material and energy impact.

  • Our project isn't a finalized product but a provocation. It opens space to imagine futures that current economics might not yet support—but that could drive new funding models, policies, or technologies in the future.

  • Absolutely—any intervention can have side effects. Part of our process involves scenario mapping, precisely to explore potential risks. We see design as a tool not just to propose solutions, but to ask better questions.

  • Speculative design often borrows narrative tools from science fiction, but with a critical purpose. Our intent isn’t to predict the future, but to challenge the present and expand the space of what’s possible or desirable.

  • Design doesn’t replace science—it complements it. We explore how solutions might be experienced, adopted, or rejected by people. Our role is to bridge complex knowledge and lived experience through tangible, visual, and emotional narratives.
